Mike Haridopolos voted yes on House passage (Roll Call 145, May 22, 2025) and on final passage (Roll Call 190, July 3, 2025). The bill was signed into law on July 4, 2025 as Public Law 119-21.

Mike Haridopolos is a Floridian, a former teacher and a public servant. He made his home on the Space Coast, taught its students, carried its priorities to Tallahassee as Florida Senate President, and carries them to Washington today.

Taught United States History and Political Science to Space Coast students at Brevard Community College, now Eastern Florida State College, and at the University of Florida's Bob Graham Center.

Lives in Indian Harbour Beach with his wife, Dr. Stephanie Haridopolos. They have three grown children.
- Senate President
Represented Brevard County in the Florida House and Senate from 2000 to 2012. As Senate President, 2010 to 2012, he put the state budget online and sponsored Florida's constitutional amendment reducing property taxes.
